System behavior in quotient systems

摘要

This paper concerns the long-run behavior of a discrete matrix system. Of particular interest is when the iterates do not converge to a vector but do tend to a subspace of vectors. We describe such convergence in a quotient space setting and give criteria, in terms of norms, which assures a system behaves as described.
