Combined iterative methods for numerical solutions of parabolic problems with time delays

We study monotone iterative schemes for finite-difference solutions of reaction-diffusion systems with time delays. In this paper we derive two modified iterative schemes by combing the method of upper-lower solutions and the Jacobi method or the Gauss-Seidel method. The convergence and stability of the monotone iterative schemes are also discussed.
