Improved numerical integration of perturbed oscillators via average

摘要

This paper addresses the improvement of numerical integration results provided by both general purpose codes and special codes, when integrating oscillatory problems. This improvement is achieved by means of a technique of average: the first approximation of Kryloff and Bogoliuboff. Numerical examples are given, including the numerical integration of the satellite problem. The results are compared with some symplectic integrators.
