A numerical method for coupled filtration equations in porous media in presence of the inverse compaction factor

In this paper a mathematical model of the transport and accretion of colloidal type particles in porous media is examined. Different from previously considered ones, the model also includes an inverse compaction factor. We present a numerical method for the solution of the coupled nonlinear differential system of equations, which models the above phenomenon. Accuracy of the presented method is tested on concrete examples.
