A posteriori error estimates for control problems governed by nonlinear elliptic equations in hp-FEM

In this paper, we derive a posteriori error estimates for the hp finite element approximation of the distributed convex optimal control problems governed by nonlinear elliptic equations. We obtain hp-a posteriori error estimators for both the state and the control approximation. These estimates can be used to construct reliable adaptive finite element approximation for the control problems.
