Modelling the dynamic emotional information propagation and guiding the public sentiment in the Chinese Sina-microblog

• Combining information dynamic model with public sentiment analyses represented by three kinds of emotions.

• Dividing population into five states: the susceptible state, the positive forwarding state, the neutral forwarding state, the negative forwarding state, and the immune state.

• The behavior of users, that they have emotional choices after contacting a piece of information with specific emotion is studied in the dynamic model.

• The emotion which is consistent with the keynote of the original information is far more than that of other emotions, but the other emotions should not be ignored.

• Effective communication strategies are identified to guide the public sentiment based on parametric analyses.
