Significance of antiviral therapy and CTL-mediated immune response in containing hepatitis B and C virus infection

作者:

Highlights:

• The model HBV/HCV dynamics that incorporates CTL-mediated immune response and antiviral therapy is developed and analysed.

• Sensitivity and significance of specific parameters is examined as well as pairwise comparison of significant parameters while accounting for False Discovery rate adjustment.

• The infection is characterised by recurring episodes of the problem although with decreasing intensity.

• Highly effective antiviral therapy of at least 80% efficacy is essential in containing the infection.
