A high accuracy algorithm for recognition of handwritten numerals

摘要

The work described in this paper emulates a multi-layered approach to processing of visual information by the human brain. Based on this approach a model is proposed for the description/recognition of handwritten numerals to yield a high-accuracy algorithm. The Syntactic and Deterministic approach are both selectively used in this description/recognition algorithm.
