Oscillation of second order nonlinear neutral differential equations

Consider the second order nonlinear neutral delay differential equation[r(t)((x(t)+p(t)x(t−τ))′)α]′+f(t,x(t−σ))=0(E),where τ and σ are nonnegative constants, and α is a quotient of positive odd integers. Some new oscillatory criteria for Eq. (E) are established. Several examples which dwell upon the importance of our results are also illustrated.
