Integral equation and contact problem

摘要

Here, we establish and solve the Fredholm integral equation of the second kind in one-dimensional from the three-dimensional contact problem in the theory of elasticity with a generalized potential kernel. The problem is investigated from the semi-symmetric Hertz problem for two different elastic materials in three-dimensional. The kernel of the problem is represented in the nonhomogenous wave equation form. Also, some important and special cases discussed and derived from this work.
