An efficient numerical approximation for the linear class of mixed integral equations

In this paper an efficient numerical and analytical method for the linear class of mixed integral equations is presented. The bivariate Chebyshev collocation method for solving the linear Volterra–Fredholm integral equations of the second kind is examined, theoretically and numerically. Its focus lies mainly on the truncated bivariate Chebyshev expansion and Chebyshev collocation points.
