On the structure of the solution set for first order differential equations

摘要

We study the structure of the solution set for the periodic boundary value problem for first order differential equations. We present some existence results and give conditions under which the solution set is compact, connected, or acyclic. If any of the assumptions is slightly modified, then it is shown that the solution set may be “chaotic”.
