Output regulation of switched singular systems based on extended state observer approach

Highlights:

• Firstly, the Luenberger observer is employed to handle the output regulation issue for switched singular systems, where the mode-dependent differential matrix Ei is considered in the systems.

• Secondly, the observer introduced in this paper not only estimates the states of system but also the external reference signals since the latter one is usually unmeasurable, which is more effective than the full-information feedback proposed in the previous literature.

• Thirdly, solvable criteria for the switched singular systems to realize the output regulation objectives are obtained via full-order and the reduced-order observer approaches respectively, and the procedure for designing these two types of observers are proposed respectively.
