Automatic recalibration of moving cameras in stereo vision systems

A straightforward approach is described for the recalibration of moving cameras in a stereo vision system. The technique requires a knowledge only of the initial calibration parameters and the relative image plane motion. Other significant ramifications of the approach, and a reduced-order example, are presented.
