Norwegian perspectives on computing in complex domains: Concluding remarks

This issue of Computers in Human Behavior presents a variety of contributions which focus on one of the great challenges of the day: managing complexity. In dealing with and managing complexity, computers are one of the most powerful tools available. There are many ways in which computers can be applied to reduce complexity. In these concluding remarks, a few quite general examples will be suggested which are in keeping with the general theme of this issue and consistent with the themes of the papers.
