On treatment selection in the face of uncertainty in expert systems

We look into the issue of selecting the appropriate treatment given a diagnosis in an environment in which there is some uncertainty in the effectiveness of a treatment for a diagnosis. We look at the ‘easiest first rule’ as a method of implementing possible treatments.
