What kind of interface for expert systems?

This article intends to show how the man-machine interface can be improved in the case of an expert system through the integration of concepts borrowed from ergonomics and cognitive psychology. In the first section, we point out the characteristics of the interface in an expert system as well as its relations with ergonomics and cognitive psychology. In the second section, we show how some expert system deal with the man-machine interface issue. In the third section, we indicate how we can possibly improve this interface to get closer to the user's logic.
