Alibaba DAMO Academy is an institute dedicated to exploring the unknown of science and technology and driven by human vision. It is a scientific research institution established by Alibaba in multiple locations around the world and is based on the research of basic science, disruptive technology and applied technology.
Its machine intelligence research field mainly focuses on theoretical and applied research on cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning, helping industries such as retail, medical care, justice, and transportation to improve efficiency, and promoting changes in economics, space technology, automatic control, computer design and manufacturing, and other fields.
Alibaba Damo Academy has achieved some results. For example, it has developed the multi-modal large model M6 and opened an autonomous driving cloud simulation platform for the first time, supporting more than 1,500 teams around the world to compete in algorithm competitions and explore decision-making planning control algorithms in high-speed scenarios.
