Necessary and sufficient conditions for delay-independent stability of multidelay linear systems

摘要

Necessary and sufficient conditions are established for delay-independent asymptotic stability of multidelay linear time-invariant systems which are described by differential-difference equations. The theorems of this paper can be used to convert a problem in transcendental equations into a problem in algebraic equations. As a special case, explicit conditions are given for first order systems with two delays.
