摘要

This paper demonstrates the use of MCQAII, as a multicriterion decision-making tool, to choose automation projects for the printed-circuit-board manufacturing business. Q-analysis is used to group alternatives at different levels of satisfaction. A new eccentricity index can measure the relationships between alternatives. In addition, the conjugate complex, which transposes the alternative-criterion matrix, is analyzed to rank the decision criteria and examine the relationships between them. The results are compared with the ELECTRE I multicriterion algorithm. These techniques are used to show how both quantifiable and nonnumerical criteria (which represent short- and long-term objectives), chosen to enhance a company's strategic position, can be used to select optimal alternatives.
