Numerical treatment of random polynomials

摘要

By developing a comparison theorem, the convergence and the order of convergence of iterates of solution of random algebraic equations are investigated. As a by-product of this study, the convergence of secant, Newton's and Muller's numerical schemes are analyzed as special cases.
