It was suggested earlier that matter capable of initiating and supporting phenomena exhibited by living organisms must have structural principles not encountered elsewhere. A pumped, open three boson field was suggested as necessary. Consequences on the requirement of time and temperature for any biological phenomena are examined in the present article.
