Evaluating systems of equations: Toward a formal approach

The simulation of any physical system is carried out with the help of a mathematical model. This model contains a system of mathematical equations that can sometimes be tricky to solve. We propose here a solution for the evaluation. This solution was worked out in Prouesse, a modeling and simulation software, and integrated in SIGE, its simulation generator.The proposed solution is a numerical solution for the calculation of systems of equations. The descriptions of this solution includes a specific mechanism that is used to accelerate the processing for the evaluation of a system of equations in a simulation process. This mechanism provides a formal solution of a one-degree, autolooped polynomial.We can observe the evaluation process applied to the example of a universal filter that is built around five amplifiers. This simulation gives us a good idea of the processing acceleration.
