Invariant imbedding for block tridiagonal systems

The invariant imbedding technique is applied to the block tridiagonal systems in a general setting using, when necessary, the generalized Moore-Penrose inverse of a matrix. Three examples are given, and the existence and the stability of solutions are discussed.
