Analysis of the response of a strongly nonlinear damped system using a differential transformation technique

摘要

The differential transformation technique is applied to solve a nonlinear differential equation that describes the underdamped and the overdamped motion of a system subjected to external excitations. Numerical results are compared to those obtained by the Runge-Kutta method to illustrate the preciseness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
