Explicit exponentially fitted methods for the numerical solution of the Schrödinger equation

We present here some accurate explicit methods for the numerical integration of the radial Schrödinger equation. The formulae considered contain free parameters which are defined in order to integrate exponential functions. Numerical results also indicate that the new methods are much more accurate than other explicit Numerov-type wellknown methods.
