Non-reactive gas-particulate models of flow through porous media

The equations governing the flow of a dusty fluid through isotropic, granular porous media are developed. The model equations take into account the volume fraction of each of the phases involved, and are based on the continuum modelling of particulate suspensions. This allows the imposition of appropriate boundary conditions for gasparticulate flow through porous media.
