A method for estimating the solution of integral equations encountered in potential theory

Presented is a method providing an effective a posteriori error analysis for Fredholm integral equations arising in potential theory. With concepts from enclosure theory error bounds are derived which are easily computable and support a comprehensive investigation of those problems.
