A matrix analytic solution to a hysteretic queueing system with random server capacity

An r-quorum queueing system under N-policy discipline is considered. The service discipline consists in providing no service until the queue length reaches N, then service begins and continues until the queue length drops below r. We use Neuts' matrix analytic methodology to study this hysteretic queueing model. Numerical implementation is carried out and sample results are presented along with graphs.
