A parallel domain decomposition algorithm of mixed element equation for second-order elliptic Dirichlet boundary value problem

A parallel domain decomposition algorithm of Schwarz type is introduced to solve the mixed finite element equation for the Dirichlet boundary value problem of a second-order partial differential equation of elliptic type and convergence of this algorithm is analyzed.
