Solution of boundary value problems by Lanczos–Legendre reduction method

摘要

Reduction of elliptic boundary value problems to systems of ordinary differential equations by Lanczos–Legendre method is discussed. Applications to torsion, axisymmetric ideal flow and convection diffusion problems were also illustrated. The simplicity of the Lanczos–Legendre reduction method and its speed and accuracy are also demonstrated.
