An inverse problem for a layered elastic plate

Under the assumption that an infinite plate consists of a finite number of elastic isotropic layers of various thickness and elastic properties, an inverse problem is considered. It is supposed that a point pulse force is applied at a boundary of the plate and the displacement vector is measured at the boundary. The inverse problem of determining parameters of the elastic plate is studied. It is proved that the given displacement vector determines the elasticity modules and density of layers as well as their thickness uniquely. A procedure of recovering the parameters is given.
