Some boundary value problems of temperature fields in oil strata

We consider two boundary value problems related to the temperature fields in oil strata. Laplace and a generalized Hankel transform are used to obtain the desired solutions. Efro’s theorem, which is a modified form of the convolution theorem for the Laplace transform is generalized using confluent hypergeometric function. Particular cases of our results established here are in agreement with some known results given in the literature.
