Estimating returns to scale in data envelopment analysis: A new procedure

摘要

In this paper we discuss original models and customary approaches for estimating returns to scale (RTS) in data envelopment analysis. We review some problems of those methods as, computational problems and problems related to alternative solutions. We introduce a new procedure to determine RTS that overcomes these problems.
