On the orientation of a rigid body using point masses

In this paper we consider a new approach to study the problem of the orientation of a rigid body containing moving masses. In this approach the exponential asymptotic stability of the equilibrium positions of a rigid body with the help of moving masses are investigated. A non-linear feedback control law that ensuring asymptotic stability of these positions is obtained as functions of the phase coordinates of the system. The control forces ensuring exponential stability of these positions are obtained. The general solution of the equations of controlled system is obtained and analyzed.
