On the expected values of the sample maximum of order statistics from a discrete uniform distribution

In this paper, the expected values of the sample maximum of order statistics from a discrete uniform distribution are given by using the sum S(N−1,n). For n up to 15, algebraic expressions for the expected values are obtained.
