A research on the prediction of machining accuracy by the deterministic grey dynamic model DGDM(1, 1, 1)

Grey Markov chain forecasting model which can widen the application of grey prediction model has the merit of GM(1, 1) model and that of Markov chain forecasting model. An additional series related to the forecast series acting as the leading indictor can be introduced by the deterministic grey dynamic model DGDM(1, 1, 1) to insert additional messages into the system and improve the accuracy of prediction.Forecast compensating control, abbreviated as FCC, for which prediction is the key procedure is relatively effective to increase the machining accuracy and quality of product. In this paper, the deterministic grey dynamic model DGDM(1, 1, 1) is first combined with the grey Markov chain forecasting model to predict the time for which the deviation is over the limit of tolerance deviation. The results show that high accuracy of prediction can be expected by the method used in this paper.
