Calculation of eigenvalues for a class of crosswise vibration equation of the beam

摘要

This paper considers the calculation of eigenvalues for a class of crosswise vibration equation of the beam by Galerkin’s method and obtains the estimation of the errors. The results are very useful for studies of the eigenvalue problems. Some numerical examples are given.
