Some second-derivative-free variants of Chebyshev–Halley methods

In this paper, we present some new variants of the Chebyshev–Halley methods free from second derivative. The new methods require two function and one first derivative evaluations per iteration, and are shown to be third-order convergent. Several numerical examples are given to illustrate the performance of the presented methods.
