Support properties of solution to degenerate equation with variable coefficient and absorption

摘要

This paper deals with Cauchy problem for a degenerate equation with variable coefficient and absorption. We show that the solution to the Cauchy problem possesses the property that the interfaces globally exist or disappear in finite time depending on the behavior of the coefficient at infinity.
