Optical rogons for inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger equation with inter modal dispersion

The analytical optical rogons are reported for an inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger equation with inter modal dispersion. The stability of optical rogons in the presence of periodic perturbations and noise has been demonstrated numerically. The results obtained here can be used to understand the rogons propagation in a tapered graded-index nonlinear waveguide and predict that their transmission can be controlled by proper managements of dispersion and nonlinearity. Our results can be experimentally verified and thus encourages the information transmission through optical rogons.
