Three-strategy and four-strategy model of vaccination game introducing an intermediate protecting measure

作者:

Highlights:

• We build a new analytic framework for a vaccination game combined with the susceptible-infected-recovered (SIR) model.

• The proposed model can evaluate imperfect provisions such as vaccination giving only partial immunity and intermediate defense measure giving only partial defense against epidemic spreading.

• Our model proposes a new strategy i.e., taking both vaccination and intermediate defense measure as an alternative provision alongside taking them separately.

• We obtain a phase diagram with which to compare the quantitative effects of the efficiency of an intermediate defense measure with the effectiveness of vaccination.
