Event triggered control for fault tolerant control system with actuator failure and randomly occurring parameter uncertainty

Highlights:

• Different from [32], [33], it is a unified framework under the consideration of actuator fault and randomly occurring parameter uncertainty for FTCS based on the hybrid event-triggered scheme. A more comprehensive system model is studied in this paper.

• In comparison with [5], [34], the time-varying actuator fault model which is more general is considered in this paper and the design scheme of fault-tolerant controller for networked FTCS is presented. Moreover, the design scheme of fault-tolerant controller proposed in this paper is applied to the F-404 aircraft engine system.

• Newly sufficient conditions have been obtained to suppress the impact of the actuator fault and the randomly occurring parameter uncertainty and guarantee the system's stochastic passivity. Furthermore, in the co-design process, the design criteria of fault tolerant controller gain and event triggered weighting matrix is presented in terms of LMIs.
