• Proposing a Microscopic Markov Chain theoretical framework to describe competitive interaction on the simplicial complexes.

• Increasing the infection rate of the 2-simplex and the 1-simplex greatly promote the transmissibility of related pathogens.

• Increasing the average degree of 1-simplices would increase its infection rate, so as to promote the spreading of pathogens.

• Selecting the nodes with the highest degree as seeds can promote pathogen spreading more than randomly selecting seeds.
