• We introduce a class of stochastic delay differential equations with delayed impulses and inputs.

• The input-to-state stability is studied for two cases where the continuous stochastic delay system is stable and unstable.

• Different from the traditional methods, we use the average dwell time and the vector Lyapunov function method.

• Two examples are used to verify the validity of our theory results.
