Highlights:

• By constructing a delay-dependent and mode-dependent L-K functional which is utilized to avoid difficulties caused by singular matrix in derivation, new criteria are derived to guarantee that the fuzzy SDMJS is stochastically admissible with a mixed H∞ and passivity performance level.

• The issue of asynchronous control with mixed H∞ and passivity performance is extended to T-S fuzzy SDMJS via HMM mechanism and PDC technique.

• The controller designed in this paper is more general, which can be transformed into some special cases, including mode-independent H∞ control, synchronous H∞ control, mode-independent passive control and synchronous passive control.
