A fully implicit scheme for multiphase flow in one dimensional porous media

We show that a system of equations appearing in multiphase flow in porous media has a global solution in time. The method of the proof is based on the random choice method. As a result we also obtain a fully implicit numerical scheme for the solution of these equations.
