Microcomputer-based heuristic approach to vehicle routing for after-sales servicing

摘要

A heuristic approach, based on a microcomputer, for solving vehicle routing problem for after-sales service technicians is presented. The “savings algorithm” is modified to incorporate the interactive aspect of the problem. The proposed method is then applied to a real-world problem of fielding technician for after-sales servicing of microcomputers in a big city.
