Knowledge-based interpretation of remotely sensed images

摘要

A review of the current approaches to machine interpretation of remotely sensed data is presented. The types of external knowledge which may be accessed in order to improve interpretation of remotely sensed data are introduced. The techniques which use this external knowledge are then discussed, together with their applicability to the data.
