Reusable tools for user modelling

摘要

This paper refines the notion of reusability of tools for user modelling by defining three layers of reusable tools. It then reviews several research projects that have developed such reusable tools, GUMS, GUMAC, BGP-MS, um and UMT. Finally it summarises the current state of research into reusable tools in terms of these systems.
